Discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition of 1897–1899, led by Adrien de Gerlache, Errera Channel was named after Leo Errera, a University of Brussels professor. Errera Channel is a great Antarctic attraction for lovers of icebergs and striking, snow-coated mountains.
